I've seen celebs and a whole slew of Fashion Blogger's with these beautiful bags - the Celine Trapeze! I really love the straight lines and geometric shapes. My favorite color is the cobalt blue version! I since have been spotting similar ones at on fast fashion sites and the one that comes closest is from JustFab.com, do you think you can spot the inspired Celine(s)? The real Celine is the orange with black flap! The cobalt and salmon colored ones can be purchased for $39.95. Good deal! As much as I would love to be able to purchase the real version - my job, plus school, and just saving for the future makes that difficult but it's good to know if I wanted to get the look I could go onto a website like JustFab and get a version so close! What do you think about these bags? Worth the splurge or is it just a passing trend?

Love is the air!!
I wanted to share a chic - low maintence - valentine's day date night outfit. This dress is flirty and sweet for a nice romantic candle lit dinner. This is a time when you can pull out all of the stops to show off whatcha got! I bought this black trench coat from Zara on their sale and I love the leather peplum detail that hints edge. You will also be seeing this black clutch I bought from HM a lot, it pratically goes with everything. This Valentine's day I didn't plan anything, I totally left that up to my valentine but I'd love to go see Cinderella on Broadway! (hint, hint) What are your plans this Valentine's day? I hope its filled with lots of love, hugs, and chocolates!!!!

Schutz Splurge
Slate - Schutz 655 Madison Ave.
It must've been a year ago when I was browsing through Thassia's blog did I see these shoes on her in black. I fell in love but thought I'd never be able to afford them because Thassia rocks nothing but the best. So, I put it out of my mind until I saw other bloggers here in the states (The Glamourai, Makeup by Camilla, Song of Style) pairing them effortlessly, so I started doing some serious research. I found out that Schutz had launched a store in NY in September 2012! I immediately called the store and asked to put my size on hold because I wouldn't be able to pick up the very same day and it was the last pair in my size! They were so sweet and happily put my size aside until I could go and pick them up. I went to the store and awesome customer service continued, and needless to say, I was a very happy shopper. The shoes fit like a dream and are incredibly comfortable. So that's my little story on these shoes - they were somewhat expensive but well worth it because I'd waited so long. I really can't wait to wear these especially for a mini getaway to Miami at the end of the month!

Meet the Photographer

I've gotten a few comments on how well the photography is on my blog so I decided to share about the person who makes it happen! Photographer and editor extraordinaire, Anthony! A little back story, we met in church at the age of 12 and began dating soon after we entered high school, I guess you can call us high school sweet hearts. Surely, we have had times when we grew apart as people do but theres a force that always brings us back together. I feel like pinching myself when I think of all the changes we've been through together in life and how much we have grown. He is probably the funniest person I know and he always lightens up a room with his quirky sense of humor, his personality is one of a kind.
At first, he didn't really understand the idea of blogging but he soon became the most supportive person on this journey: teaching me how to pose, going through photos for editting, and having endless patience while I shop. Most times it's difficult to shoot because Anthony lives in Manhattan and I live in Queens (an hour and a half away) but somehow we make it happen. So, thank you Tony! I couldn't do this without you. I love you!!
